We had a lot of fun at Pembroke Lodge on Monday 12th February.  Discoverers were kindly hosted in the Belvedere by The HEARSUM COLLECTION and the sun was shining!
We walked with birdwatchers on a bird trail, we made a bird treat to take home and we made our own arty versions of owls and birds. It was a lovely morning spent in excellent company in our beautiful Richmond Park.

Here are some of the beautiful creations made by the children. The only material available were paper plates and cups, card, felt  and wooden cutlery, as always our Discoverers showed real talent!

Four local birdwatchers joined us to give families a flavour of what it is like to birdwatch and they drew up a list of what was seen during our workshop. Every nose was up in the air when SIX buzzards were spotted circling above our heads. They rise with the warm air and we had not seen that many over the park for a while.

Save the date for our next event on Monday 8th April: A special Whodunit mystery with the help of the Parks Police!
