For families exploring Richmond Park
What is the Discoverers programme?
Discoverers is the Friends of Richmond Park’s activities programme for families with school age children. Events take place on a number of weekends throughout the year. Most Discoverers events are free, and open to non-FRP members.

Meet the Bats Of Richmond Park!
Because of Covid-19 restrictions we are unable to hold our Bat Watch this year – however, all is not lost!
You are invited to join our bat expert, Philip Briggs, for a virtual bat walk via Zoom, in Richmond Park, and find out more about the amazing lives of the different types of bats we've encountered on previous years' walks. We will also hear about the more secretive bats that live in the Park and are harder to find.
Date – September 26th
Time – 7.00pm
We will book people in as usual for this event, so please go to the event page for more information.
AND REMEMBER – WHEN IN THE PARK
Keep a safe distance from other people at all times
Also, please remember that the Deer Rutting Season is about to start, and keep well clear of any animals.
You can find reports and photos from recent events on our events page at https://frp.org.uk/discoverers-events/
Joining Discoverers is a great way to get to know our beautiful Park!
