Short Nature Walks

Short  Nature Walks  in  Richmond  Park

This new series of nine short, self-guided nature walks from Park gates is especially for those coming to the Park on foot.  Each walk is around a mile long and they are mostly easy with gentle slopes. All nine walks are available for you to download free.  See below.

They have been devised and written for the Friends of Richmond Park by Christopher Hedley and designed by Ken Edwards. Because of covid 19 restriction, they have not been widely test walked – so, if after walking them you have any suggested improvements, please email us at [email protected]

These Short Walks complement the two sets of our ‘Walks with Remarkable Trees’, which are longer (between 1.5 and 3.5 miles), start from car parks in the Park and are on sale at the Visitor Centre. See more information on Tree Walks
