Interested in finding out more about the Park's elusive but fascinating bat population?

Book now for Discoverer's family-friendly bat walk, which will take place from 6.15 to 7.30 pm on Saturday 3 October (the exact finishing time will depend on weather conditions). There will be a short talk by Philip Briggs, from the London Bat Group, and then an opportunity to get hands-on with a bat detector, learning what sounds are made by different types of bat.

You can find out more and book places on the Bat Watch on the Discoverers event registration page (closing date 23 September). Children over the age of 5 are welcome. This event is very popular so is open to members of FRP only – there is no charge, but a donation to the London Bat Group would be appreciated.
