Discoverers have enjoyed coming out in the park to see what is going on.  Our Little Owl search was fruitful, right at the very end, as we were back at the car park (a favourite birdwatcher’s place!)

The old oak trees and their nooks and crannies offer brilliant homes to the little owls and their babies (owlets).  After the indicative hissing of the owlets at the end of June, we were confident we might see one or two as dusk was approaching.  Any old branch or even a bench or an indicatory panel makes a good perch but we found ours in an old conifer!

Join the Discoverers Mailing List to be kept informed of future outings if you are not on it already.

See you soon!
