We’re  sad  to  report  the  death  of  two  people  who  made  enormous  contributions  to  Richmond  Park  and  the  Friends.

P
PJ Greeves, one of the Friends Trustees, died suddenly in mid April. He had been a Trustee for ten years and organised many of the Friends events, including the Richmond Park Open Days. PJ was the Chair of Richmond MIND for eight years, raising awareness and understanding of mental health conditions. He and his wife Molly were also volunteers at the Visitor Centre and in the Adopt-an-Area litter picking team.
P
Daniel Hearsum died in early April. He took over Pembroke Lodge in 1997 and restored it and developed it into a very successful wedding venue and cafe that generated substantial funding for the Park. His Hearsum Collection has preserved many historical items about Richmond Park. He was a great and generous friend of the Park and the Friends.
