Film Launch Organiser wanted

Volunteer event organiser sought for launch event of Richmond Park film featuring Sir David Attenborough

Friends of Richmond Park (FRP) charity is looking for an experienced event organiser to manage and co-ordinate an exciting launch event for a conservation film about Richmond Park featuring Sir David Attenborough. This will be a 6-8 week project commencing imminently.

This is a short-term voluntary position although some compensation payment may be available for the ideal candidate. The event will be prestigious, high profile, featured in a wide range of media and will involve meeting and working with people renowned in natural history and conservation.

The key skills and responsibilities required are as follows:

  • experience of organising/co-ordinating large events and projects

  •  liaising with and delegating to the venue staff, PR/media agencies, FRP trustees  and media partners

  •  managing and co-ordinating guest lists and invitations

  •  good IT skills to include Excel, Word and/or Mac

  •  good writing and communication skills

Help and support will be provided by FRP trustees and other agencies working on the project.
