The Friends organised a Spring Clean of Richmond Park on 15 April 2018.
45 Friends' volunteers gave up their time to clear litter, dropped on the ground by members of the public who had failed to place it in any of the many bins provided around the park.
The volunteers made a complete sweep of the Park and cleared a huge amount of litter, including 50 or more bags of dog poop which were found discarded on the ground or hidden amongst the trees.
The Royal Parks management thanked the Friends and all the volunteers for their tremendous effort.
